A desk shot on my studio table. Cork surface, warm light, real shadows, then taken apart so you can put it back together your own way.

There are two sides to this set. Six ready-made desk scenes you can drop a design straight into and export, and two editable object packs, stationery and tech, for when none of the six is quite the shot you want and you’d rather build the desk yourself.

The editable objects are smart objects. Double-click one, paste your design into the pad cover, the notepad page, the sticky note, the business card, the phone or the laptop screen, and it picks up the scene’s light and shadow on the way in. Every object sits on its own layer with its own shadow, so nothing is locked to one composition.

What’s in it

• Six desk scenes. Ready-made compositions on the cork surface, styled and lit, waiting for your design.

What you can do with it

Stage a planner or notebook cover before it goes to print. Build a listing image that looks like a photograph, because it is one. Mock up a business card, a sticky-note idea or an app screen without arranging a single physical object. Rebuild the same desk three ways for a three-image listing set.

How it works

Double-click a smart object, paste your design in, close and save. Move the props around until the desk tells the story you want. Export. Layers are well organised and named the way you’d expect, so there’s no hunting and no design degree required.

Works in Affinity, not just Photoshop

You get a native .afdesign file with the same separated layers and smart-object equivalents, so Affinity Photo and Designer users aren’t converting a PSD and hoping the shadows survive. There’s a Procreate version too, and an editable PSD for Photoshop or Photopea.

Formats: PSD, Affinity, Procreate and PNG. Every layer yours to move, recolour and swap. There’s a flat PNG of each finished scene too, if you don’t use design software and just want the shot.
