1. Overview

These Terms of Service govern your participation in Custom Scene’s Credit System, including the purchase, use, and management of credits, subscriptions, and bonus rewards. By engaging with the Credit System, you agree to the following terms in addition to the Website Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, these terms will take precedence for Credit System-related matters.

2. Credit Types

The credit system consists of three types:

  • Purchased Credits: Credits bought directly and do not expire.
  • Bonus Credits: Promotional credits earned through engagement activities; these expire at the end of each calendar month.
  • Subscription Credits: Credits included in active subscription plans. These are forfeited if the subscription is canceled or expires.

3. Purchasing Credits

  • Credits are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Purchased credits do not expire and can be used at any time to purchase eligible products on Custom Scene.
  • Taxes may apply to the purchase of credits, depending on your location, but tax is not added when using credits to purchase products.

4. Using Credits

  • Credits can only be used for products available on www.customscene.co.
  • Products purchased with credits are non-refundable.
  • Credits will be deducted in the following order of priority: Bonus Credits, Subscription Credits, Purchased Credits.
  • If sufficient credits are not available, the transaction will not be processed.

5. Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions provide XX credits per month (worth $XX).
  • Subscription credits roll over while the subscription is active.
  • Subscription credits are only valid during an active subscription and are forfeited if the subscription is canceled or expires.
  • Purchases made using credits during the subscription remain yours after the subscription ends.

6. Bonus Credits

  • Bonus credits are earned through activities like referrals, reviews, or promotional campaigns.
  • Bonus credits expire monthly unless otherwise specified.
  • Bonus credits may not be transferable between accounts.

7. Promotional Campaigns

  • Custom Scene may run promotional campaigns offering bonus credits or discounted rates. For example:
    • Early-Access Campaign: Users signing up during the early-access phase may receive $5 in bonus credits for email signup. Bonus credits are subject to expiration and promotional terms.
  • Promotional credits cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-refundable.
  • Offers may change or be withdrawn without prior notice.

8. Early-Access Phase

  • The credit system is currently in an early-access phase to gather feedback and refine features.
  • During this phase:
    • Features and functionality may change, improve, or be removed to enhance customer experience.
    • Users agree to potential issues, bugs, or interruptions until the early-access phase concludes.
  • By participating and using credits during this phase, you acknowledge these conditions and agree to updates or adjustments.

9. Account Responsibility

  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account details and ensuring they comply with these Terms of Service.
  • Custom Scene reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or misuse the credit system.

10. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Credits and subscriptions are non-refundable once purchased.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time, but no prorated refunds will be issued for unused subscription periods.

11. Changes to the System

  • Custom Scene reserves the right to modify the terms, credit structure, or available offers at any time. Notice of changes will be provided through the website or via email.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Custom Scene is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from unauthorized use of your account or credits, or from issues arising during the early-access phase.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
